OBJECTIVE: To translate the original English version of oral health impact profile (OHIP)-14 into Chinese version and to test the psychometric properties of the Chinese version for use among the Chinese adults. METHODS: The original English version of OHIP-14 was translated into Chinese, and pre-tested and cross-cultural adapted. For the BL− group, the mean OHIP‐14 score was 3.91 (SD: 5.39). The corresponding mean values were 3.81 (SD: 5.29) for the BL group and 8.47 (SD: 10.38) for the BL+ group.
